Renovation of a library in Laconia, New Hampshire. Working plans call for the renovation of a library.

The owner has selected a Construction Manager. A timeline for construction has not yet been established. The City of Laconia is requesting Statements of Qualifications from construction management firms for CM services related to historic restoration and repair of the Gale Memorial Library. The City of Laconia reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all submissions or any part thereof, to waive any formality in the process, and to accept the submission considered to be in the best interest of the City. Failure to submit all information called for may be sufficient grounds for disqualification. The City of Laconia reserves the right to cancel this request at any time for any reason. The City of Laconia aims to preserve the historic Gale Memorial Library building and is seeking a Construction Management firm to perform services including preparation of bid documents, evaluation of proposals, coordination of project schedule, and on-site supervision of projects as needed at a fixed fee. The Laconia Public Library estimates the construction budget for phase I of the project to be $200,000.
