Contractor agrees to provide to the Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) Bridgeport Area office, including all detached out buildings the services described herein: furnish all supplies, materials, tools, equipment, labor, personnel, and supervision; pay all taxes, insurance, bonds, license and permit fees, and all other direct and indirect costs necessary to provide semi-annual (twice yearly) roof maintenance services License Requirement: Contractor's State Licensing Board, C-39 Roofing License Contractor. The Department of California Highway Patrol (CHP) invites prospective bidders to review and respond to the attached Invitation for Bids (IFB) Number 24C820000 entitled, CHP Bridgeport Area office Roof Maintenance Services. When preparing and submitting a bid, compliance with the instructions found herein is imperative. California Law Requires Disabled Veterans Business Enterprise (DVBE) participation. All bidders for this solicitation, must meet the minimum DVBE participation requirement of 5% In granting small/micro business preference, no bid price will be reduced by more than five percent (5%). The services shall be performed at: Department of California Highway Patrol Bridgeport Area office 125 Main Street Bridgeport, CA 93517 The roof maintenance work schedule shall be performed during normal business hours of 8:00 a.m. and 5:00 p.m., Monday through Friday, unless permission is granted otherwise by the CHP on-site contact. Contractor will be required to contact the CHP on-site contact to schedule semi-annual maintenance at least three (3) days in advance of inspection. Contractor shall check-in and checkout with the CHP on-site contact upon each service call to provide verification that service has been performed.
