Electrical Upgrades Phase 3. No Bids Shall Be Accepted From a Vendor Not Submitted a Deposit. Bidders Requesting Receipt by Other Than U.s. Mail Shall Be Responsible for Making Such Arrangements and All Associated Costs. Deposits Must Be a Check or Cash; No Credit Cards Are Accepted or Copies of Checks. SCOPE OF WORK Ontario County is the sponsor of Finger Lakes Community College and plays a role in managing capital projects on behalf of the College. Ontario County is accepting sealed bids for Phase 3, Electrical System Upgrades. The Electrical Contractor shall replace (34) electrical panelboards, replace (11) transformers, provide (17) power and energy meters, and provide (1) surge protective device. The Electrical Contractor shall provide proof of qualifications as listed in Specifications Section 260010. The electrical work shall take place December 23 rd , 2024 to January 20 th , 2025. Work shall be scheduled such that the shutdown(s) are as short of duration as possible. Providing temporary power to select loads will be required. Questions about or clarifications to the Bid Specifications must be made in writing to the County Purchasing Director prior to the bid opening via regular mail (at the address listed in the Notice to Bidders), e-mail (Purchasing@ontariocountyny.gov), or fax (585-396-4250).
