Intent to Award May 20, 2024 PROPERTY LOCATION: GREEN RIDGE ELEMENTARY SCHOOL 1 GREEN RIDGE RD MECHANICSBURG, PA 17050 Additions and Alterations to Eagle View Middle School and Green Ridge Elementary School Each bid shall be accompanied by bid security in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the Base Bid amount and all alternate bid amounts in the form of a Bid Bond as described in the Supplementary Instructions to Bidders. A Performance Bond and a Payment Bond in the forms provided in the Project Manual, each in an amount equal to one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of the Contract, and each with satisfactory corporate surety, must be furnished by the successful Bidder prior to execution of a Contract. Bids may not be modified, withdrawn or cancelled by the Bidder for sixty (60) calendar days following the actual date of opening thereof, except as provided by the Commonwealth Procurement Code. Generally, the new construction consists of load bearing masonry, structural steel framing, steel joists and metal deck, masonry veneer, exterior metal wall panels, mechanically attached EPDM membrane roofing, aluminum windows, storefront system, curtain wall system, casework, and interior finishes along with the specified mechanical, electrical and plumbing systems. Renovations consist of replacement of interior finishes including, but not limited to, ceiling tile, flooring, casework, countertops, painting, hollow metal frames and doors, exterior windows and specified mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems. Site construction consists of new parent and bus driveways, access roads, subsequent parking, lighting, stormwater management systems, and fencing.
