This contract consists of as-needed roadside litter pick up in Kent County MD, Quadrant III. Work activities include removal of trash, litter, and debris including recap, organic debris, bottles, cans, cardboard, paper, tires, metal, etc. This also includes the removal and clearing of debris from inlet grates along the shoulder. No animal carcasses will be the responsibility of the contractor. This is a nonexclusive contract. It does not include all work expected to be performed in the designated areas. Therefore, at times, other Contractors may be performing similar work that is not associated with this Contract. Small Business Reserve Designation Yes Prices submitted in response to this solicitation are irrevocable for ninety (90) days following the due date. The Procurement Officer may, however, request vendors to extend the time during which the State may accept their bids. Once a bid is accepted, all prices, terms, and conditions shall remain unchanged throughout the contract period Estimated start date is July 1st, 2024, or later and will be on based on a minimum of 3 consecutive days every week. The duration / term of the contract will be not to exceed 12 months. The contract written with the successful bidder will be for the successful total bid amount that does not exceed $50,000.
