Site work for a water / sewer project in Sunrise, Florida. Conceptual plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.

The Sawgrass water treatment plant has two raw water flow meters that are nearing the end of useful life. These flow meters need to be replaced. The flow meters are located within the pipe gallery in the lower basement floor of the membrane treatment plant and are difficult to access without engineering and construction sequencing requirements. In addition to the flowmeters, the plant does not have wireless frequency and is recommended to be added in this project. The project is include in the city's 2024-2028 Capital Improvement Program (CIP) *Project information has been obtained through a public capital improvement plan (CIP). A CIP is a financial schedule for short- and long-range projects which is updated regularly. Information listed in the CIP often evolves based on funding availability and the project details, including timeline and value, are subject to change. The content management team will continue to pursue additional details as they become available.
