Renovation of an educational facility in Rangely, Colorado. Conceptual plans call for the renovation of a 43,000-square-foot educational facility.
Reference Number 0000348310 Colorado Northwestern Community College (CNCC) is seeking proposals from qualified firms for design services for the Siding and Window Replacement project. This project aims to remove ~32,000 sf of cedar plank siding, upgrade insulation, and replace it with metal siding. In addition, the selected firm will be required to specify and design window replacement for ~11,000 sf of antiquated window systems in (10) buildings. With the passing of HB21-1303, this project is required to comply with the Buy Clean Colorado Act requirements and the selected firm will need to verify design is within the established maximum acceptable global warming potential (GWP) limits for categories of eligible materials. This project is contingent on funding from the annual Long Bill. CNCC anticipates the project will be funded in May 2024. CNCC anticipates using the Design/Bid/Build delivery method and has a fixed limit cost of construct budget of $3,019,872.00.
