Site work for a civil project in Oregon City, Oregon. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Construction of approximately 2,200 linear feet (LF) of 12-inch ductile iron water main. • Replacement of approximately 33 water services, including pressure reducing valves (PRV’s). • Replacement of two (2) fire hydrants. • Reconnection of new water main to 11 existing water mains. • Perform additional and incidental Work as called for by the Specifications and Plans. Each proposal must be submitted on forms prescribed by the City and accompanied by a certified check, cashier's check, or bid bond in an amount equal to 10 percent (10%) of the total amount bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a faithful performance bond and a labor and material payment bond each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the amount of contract. The successful bidder will also be required to furnish a statutory public works bond in the amount of thirty thousand dollars ($30,000.00). Evidence of workers' compensation insurance will be required before the work shall commence. The City will investigate and determine the qualifications of the apparent low bidder prior to awarding the contract. The City reserves the right to reject any bid not in compliance with all prescribed public bidding procedures and requirements, and may reject all bids if it is in the public interest to do so.
