Drilling of a test hole and detailed water quality sampling with depth followed by drilling for a production well using the rotary drilling method. The well will be used in the Granger Hunter Improvement District drinking water system. Well #18 is anticipated to be completed with a 20-inch diameter casing to a total depth of approximately 1,000 feet. Figure 1 shows the location and site plan of the well, Figure 2 shows the anticipated well design, and Figure 3 shows the well head completion. Bond Notes: A five percent (5%) Bid Bond will be required. All questions related to the project shall be directed to the ENGINEER or the Q&A Board via (u3P) on or before April 24, 2024. Substantial Completion: CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER $200.00 for each day that expires after the time (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) specified above for Substantial Completion, until the Work is substantially complete. 2. Completion of Remaining Work: After Substantial Completion, if CONTRACTOR shall neglect, refuse, or fail to complete the remaining Work within the Contract Times (as duly adjusted pursuant to the Contract) for completion and readiness for final payment, CONTRACTOR shall pay OWNER $200.00 for each day that expires after such time until the Work is completed and ready for final payment. 3. Liquidated damages for failing to timely attain Milestones, Substantial Completion, and final completion are not additive, and will not be imposed concurrently.
