The work includes a Base Bid price for the sandblasting, priming and painting fire hydrants in Mount Prospect, Illinois. The bid also includes a cost for the fire hydrants caps designated colors. All work under this Bid and the resulting contract must comply with the Illinois Prevailing Wage Act, 820 ILCS 130/0.01 et seq. and the other applicable laws and ordinances. The Contractor shall provide, at a minimum, the following work: o Fulfill all items and requirements listed in the General Conditions and Specifications. o Perform any and all additional work, as required by the Director of Public Works, for the unit costs indicated on the Bid Sheet. Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid date without the consent of the Board of Trustees. Any Bid submitted unsealed, unsigned, sent via email or fax or received subsequent to the aforementioned date and time, will be disqualified and returned to the bidder. The Village reserves the right in its sole discretion, to reject any and all bids or parts thereof, to waive any irregularities technicalities and informalities in bid procedures and to award the contract in a manner best serving the interests of the Village. Offers may not be withdrawn for a period of ninety (90) days after the bid date without the consent of the Board of Trustees.
