The City of Tacoma (City) is soliciting bids to establish one or more contracts with qualified vendors to fulfill the City’s needs for Tree Pruning and Removal. Contract(s) will be awarded to the lowest responsive and responsible bidder(s) based on price, quality and availability. The work performed under this contract shall consist of removing trees and pruning existing trees. The work sites are located in the public rights-of-way, or City real property such as open space, urban forests, parks, and other City owned and/or operated facilities within the City of Tacoma. The work performed under this contract shall consist of removing trees and pruning existing trees. The City reserves the right to correct obvious errors in the Respondent's proposal. In this regard, if the unit price does not compute to the extended total price, the unit price shall govern. If this project requires prevailing wages under chapter 39.12 RCW, any worker, laborer, or mechanic employed in the performance of any part of the work shall be paid not less than the applicable prevailing rate of wage. The project site is located in Pierce County. Estimate: $600,000 If a Bid Bond is used, the form furnished by the City must be followed; no variation from the language thereof will be accepted.
