Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Oconomowoc, Wisconsin. Completed plans call for site work for a sidewalk / parking lot; for paving for a sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.

Work includes reconstruction of the Lac La Belle Boat Launch which is the only boat launch on the lake. Site will be completely reconstructed to better accommodate the launch, parking and marina. Project will be phased to allow for the launch and marina to be used this summer into September 2024. Construction of the non-launch area can begin August 2024. Work items to support the street reconstructions include: clearing and grubbing; unclassified excavation and site removals; traffic control; erosion control; storm sewer and underground detention system; bio retention basins; asphalt pavement and base course; concrete pavement and base course; concrete sidewalk with base; concrete boat launch and keyway; floating piers; sheet piling wall and helical piles; concrete curb and gutter; metal railing; chain link fencing; retaining wall; site lighting and electrical; medium rip-rap; pavement markings and signage and turf/site restoration. The anticipated substantial completion date is May 1, 2025 No proposal will be accepted unless accompanied by a certified check or bid bond equal to at least 5% of the amount bid payable to the City as a guarantee that if the bid is accepted the bidder will execute and file the proper contract and bond within 15 days after the award of the contract. The certified check or bid bond will be returned to the bidder as soon as the contract is signed and if after 15 days the bidder shall fail to do so, the certified check or bid bond shall be forfeited to the City as liquidated damages. No bid may be withdrawn within 60 days after the actual date of the opening thereof. Per Wisconsin Statutes 66.0903 the minimum wages to be paid on the project shall be in accordance with the wage rate scale established by local wage rates. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any or all bids and accept the bid that serves the best interest of the City.
