Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Plainfield charter Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a playground / park / athletic field; for paving for a playground / park / athletic field; playground / park / athletic field; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

The project consists of constructing the following: Following the clearing, grubbing, and grading of the proposed project area construct a new paved parking lot and driveway, elevated boardwalk, accessible kayak launch, playground with surfacing, picnic shelter with tables and grill, benches, bike racks, waste receptacles, trail & interpretive signs, and concrete walkways. The site will be restored with a combination of turf grass and native swale seed mix. A bid bond, certified check, or cashiers check payable to Plainfield Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price shall accompany each bid. This surety shall bind the bidder for a period of sixty (60) days after the receipt of bids. Award: by Plainfield Charter Township on May 13, 2024. Approval to Construct: by MDNR is anticipated on June 1, 2024 All Work must be substantially complete on or before May 1, 2025 and be fully completed, operational and ready for final payment in accordance with Paragraph 15.06 of the General Conditions on or before May 15, 2025.
