Description

Site work and paving for a mixed-use development in Plainfield charter Township, Michigan. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; water / sewer project; for paving for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and sidewalk / parking lot.

SCOPE OF PROJECT The project consists of furnishing all material and constructing the following: 4,900 feet of 8-inch water main including fittings, hydrants, valves, and water services. Abandonment of existing water main and all necessary appurtenances, restoration, and traffic control. Approximately 1.2 miles of sidewalk reconstruction. Contractor must furnish adequate material, equipment, labor, and supervision to complete the specified work, which also includes testing, inspection, and placing the system in operation. FUNDING The work to be performed under this contract will be paid for with Plainfield Charter Township local funds. All contract payments will be made by Plainfield Charter Township. Federal wages do not apply to this contract. BID SURETY A bid bond, certified check, or cashier's check payable to Plainfield Charter Township in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total price must accompany each bid. This surety will bind the bidder for a period of ninety (90) days after the receipt of bids.
