Renovation of a water / sewer project in Hillsville, Virginia. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project.
Motley Hill Tank (Exterior): 1. The scope of work for the Motley Hill Tank is overcoating of the tank exterior and spot coating repairs of the interior wet. 2. Tests determined the exterior coating does not contain lead. 3. Due to tank location, containment will be required to keep work from affecting surrounding area. Containment required per SSPC Guide 6-2A. 4. UNSCHEDULED REPAIRS: Listed in section 3.04. 5. SCHEDULE REPAIRS: Listed in section 3.05. 6. No logo. The water level marking on the Motley Hill Tank exterior shall be repainted. 7. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and tools, required to perform all work listed in these specifications, to include disposal of generated waste. Howlett Street Tank (Interior): 1. The scope of work for the Howlett Street tank is total removal/replacement of the interior coating and spot coating repairs of the exterior. 2. The tanks interior wet, including surface preparation and coating application. 3. UNSCHEDULED REPAIRS: Listed in section 3.04. 4. SCHEDULE REPAIRS: Listed in section 3.05. 5. No logo 6. The Contractor shall provide all materials, labor, equipment, and tools, required to perform all work listed in these specifications, to include disposal of generated waste.
