As of March 4, 2025, per owner, no one was selected. The project funding was pulled. The intent of this RFP is to obtain proposals from qualified offerors to enter into a contract for architectural/engineering services for a new pool and pool/clubhouse to be located at Recreation Park for the County of Carroll. Carroll County plans to award a contract to one offeror who meets the criteria. Once under contract, the offeror will be asked to perform architectural/engineering services, conceptual design, construction management, to work with the County Finance Director in the bidding process and to create the bid specifications for a sealed bid document for the construction of a new pool and pool house at Recreation Park located at 129 Ballpark Drive, Hillsville, Virginia 24343. A contract shall be awarded for a period that includes site evaluation, the design phase, the construction management phase, and the warranty period of the project. All work performed for this project shall be done as a lump sum, not-to-exceed maximum basis. The County of Carroll reserves the right to cancel any contract resulting from this solicitation immediately upon receiving notification in writing. This cancellation will be without liability to The County of Carroll, Virginia for breach of contract.
