The Work Generally Consists of Installation of All Erosion and Sediment Control Measures, Preparation (Filling and Excavation) of the Subgrade, Rock Removal, Installation of 12'' Controlled Subgrade, Liner Placement Including Geosynthetic Clay Liner and 60 Mil Hdpe Liner System, Geotextile, Gravel Drainage Layer; Leachate Collection Piping, Gravity Piping, Tank With Concrete Pad, Pumping System and Force Main; Storm water Channels; and the Development of a Soil Borrow Area. The Owner Reserves the Right to Reject Any and All Bids, or to Contact Any Bidder Prior to Award for Explanations or Clarifications. Description A. Contractor shall provide all personnel, material, and equipment to form, construct, and install all cement concrete surfaces for pads as shown in the Drawings, or otherwise required, and in accordance with these specifications. B. The work includes: 1. Preparation for concrete forming and furnishing and installing concrete pads, and all other required concrete items. 2. Installation of any required expansion and contraction joints as described in Section 321373. For the tank foundation, use the tank Manufacturers recommendations for jointing to provide an adequate, water-tight foundation.
