Site work and renovation of a civil project in Corning, Iowa. Completed plans call for the renovation of a water / sewer project; and for site work for a water / sewer project.

Construct 2024 Lake Icaria Raw Water Pump Station Replacement project including all labor, materials and equipment, necessary for construction of a complete and operable raw water pump station including pumps and associated piping, fittings and valves and electrical controls; and miscellaneous associated work. Owner will provide underground piping, building foundation, building, and site work. Each proposal shall be made out on a blank form furnished by the Engineer andmust beaccompanied by bid security, as follows: a certified or cashier's check, drawn onasolventIowabank or a bank chartered under the laws of the United States or a certified sharedraft drawnon a credit union in Iowa or chartered under the laws of the United States, inanamount equal to five percent (5%) of the bid, or a bid bond executed by a corporation authorizedtocontractas a surety in the State of Iowa in a penal sum of five percent (5%) of the bid. Liquidated damages in the amount of One Hundred Dollars ($250.00) per calendar daywill beassessed for each day the work shall remain uncompleted after the end of the contract periodwith due allowance for extensions of the contract period due to conditions beyondthecontrol of the Contractor. The successful bidder will be required to furnish a bond in an amount equal toonehundredpercent (100%) of the contract price, said bond to be issued by responsible suretyapprovedbythe Board and shall guarantee the faithful performance of the contract and theterms andconditions therein contained, and shall guarantee the prompt payment for all materialsandlabor and protect and save harmless the Board from claims and damages of any kindcausedbythe operations of the Contractor, and shall guarantee the work against faulty workmanshipandmaterials for a period of two (2) years after its completion and acceptance by theBoardof Trustees. The work will commence within ten (10) calendar days after the date set forthinwrittenNoticeto Proceed and shall be completed by May 30, 2025. The Board of Trustees reserves the right to reject any or all bids, to waive informalitiesortechnicalities in any bid and to accept the bid which it deems to be to the best interest of theUtility.
