Contractor shall complete all Work as specified or indicated in the Contract Documents. The Work is generally described as follows: +/- 17,410 LF Pre-Construction Video, installation of +/- 415 LF 8" existing gravity sewer main, +/- 1,000 LF of 8" Cured in Place Piping (CIPP), +/- 29.40 VF standard manhole construction, +/- 742.26 VF manhole rehabilitation, and transfer of existing sewer service connections. Contract includes providing all materials, labor, and equipment necessary to complete construction as detailed in the plans and specifications. Bid security shall be furnished in accordance with the Instructions to Bidders. If awarded the Contract the successful bidder will be required to furnish a Performance Bond and Payment Bond, each in the amount of one hundred percent (100%) of the Contract amount. Bonds must be provided by sureties appearing on the U.S. Treasury Department's most current Circular 570 Listing and be licensed in the State of Georgia. No bids may be withdrawn after the closing time for receipt of bids for a period of sixty (60) days except as specifically detailed in the Instructions to Bidders. All permits required for the construction of this project are expected to be approved prior to the date of the bid opening. The City of Leesburg reserves the right to reject any or all bids including without limitation the rights to reject any or all nonconforming, nonresponsive, unbalanced or conditional Bids; and to make an award in the best interest of the City of Leesburg.
