Lee County Utility Authority is requesting qualifications for selection of a Meter Installer to provide the installation and data management of all the meters in the County. The Utility would like the contractor to supply their best price and specifications per each 3/4 "- 8" meter installation, activation, and data collection. This is for LABOR ONLY. The Utility would also like a price for the retrofitting of their existing AMR meters. The contractor must provide a data transfer file that is "Tyler Technology" compatible for data migration to close out and install all 7000 meters/ registers with a data file upload. It is required to have worked and completed a "Tyler Technology" meter replacement previously. Below are a few specifics about Lee County UA current meter replacement needs. The County has a total of 7000 +/- Meters. o 3100 +/- meters are currently on a drive by reading system and only require a register retrofit to convert to AMI. o 3900 Meters are manual read and need a complete meter change out conversion. o We want GPS locations on all 7,000 +/- meters. o The existing 3100 AMR (drive by) meters are Master Meter 3G meters. o Box Replacement, repiping, and needed materials will be allocated out of the "Miscellaneous Contingency Costs" line item below pending Utility approval.
