Amendment 0002 - 05/23/2024 - The purpose of this amendment is to document the pre-proposal site visit, provide an updated Statement of Work and Schedule of Items (attached directly to Amendment 0002) and revise the item description to reflect the Amendment 0001 change to the wire gauge minimum. No other changes. Offer due date remains 05/31/2024 by 1700 (MT). Amendment 0001 - 05/01/2024 - The purpose of this amendment is to provide an updated Statement of Work that updates the minimum gauge of wire from 28 to 26 gauge. Offer due date is not extended. No other changes. PROJECT NAME: STEAMBOAT FIRE BUNKHOUSE ROOF REPLACEMENT PROJECT DESCRIPTION: This work includes the complete demolition of existing roof coverings and underlayment and full replacement with new underlayment and a new 26 gauge* (minimum) Structural Standing Seam Roof System (SSSRS). The area of the roof that will be replaced is estimated at 4065 SF and consists of fiberglass reinforced asphalt shingles and underlayment which shall be removed down to the existing sheathing prior to installing new metal roof panels. These panels shall have a color determined by Forest Service leadership. *Updated via Amendment 0001. PROJECT LOCATION: This project is located within the city limits of Steamboat Springs, Colorado. From the west edge of downtown, turn south onto 13th Street and travel for approximately one-half mile. The Site II Work Center complex lies on the south side of 13th Street at the intersection of 13th Street and Evans Street. The Work Center consists of an east parcel (Bunkhouse and Shop/Garage) and a west parcel (Ware yard). (ROUTT COUNTY, COLORADO) MAGNITUDE OF CONSTRUCTION: Between $25,000 and $100,000 The Government is planning a pre-quote conference, during which potential offerors may obtain a better understanding of the work required. Offerors are encouraged to submit all questions in writing at least five (5) days prior to the conference. Questions will be considered at any time prior to or during the conference; however, offerors will be asked to confirm verbal questions in writing.
