Illinois State University is seeking statement of qualifications from elevator consultant firms interested in providing on-site review and evaluation, along with planning and design services for upgrades and improvements to the 6 elevators in the 18-story Hewett and Manchester Student Housing buildings on the main campus. Firms should be familiar with elevator equipment usage demands for a university student housing as well as the wide range of hoist-way conditions found in the temperate climate of central Illinois. The range of services to be provided include assessment of existing conditions, recommendations for remedial work, design, construction specifications and documents including warranty phase requirements, and estimated costs for completion of required project work. There is a 30 percent BEP goal for this procurement. Clarifications or modifications to drawings or specifications will be posted via addendum.
