SCOPE OF WORK includes, but is not necessarily limited to the following: A. Design Services: 1. Reference provided specific OPWDD Requirements for the Fire Alarm Control Panel and Notification Devices Replacement being designed. a. OPWDD is aware that there are limited "proprietary" systems available and is agreeable to an "Open-System." We define this as a system that the manufacturer openly licenses distributors and service providers to do equipment repair and programming on their products. An Open-System must allow the owner (OPWDD) to choose from a variety of authorized fire alarm service providers. The purpose of asking questions during the site visit is to obtain clarification to the enclosed Project Scope. In the event that modifications are needed to the Project Scope, the modifications will be distributed by the FLDDSO Business Office to all contractors. Contractors are to prepare and submit their quotes based on the written Project Scope and any modifications made in writing. Owner Rights: The Agency reserves the right to make awards within (90) days or such longer period as shall be specified in the RFQ documents after the date of the RFQ deadline, during which period quotes shall not be withdrawn unless the bidder distinctly states in the quote that acceptance thereof must be made within a shorter specified time. If, however, an award is not affected within the ninety (90) day period, a quote shall remain firm until such later time as either a contract is awarded by the State or the contractor delivered to the Agency written notice of the withdrawal of the quote.
