The renovation of Firehouse Station #2 in Provincetown is an exciting project focused on preserving the historic structure while adapting the upper floors into housing for up to 5 individuals in private bedrooms. The Work under this Contract includes, but is not necessarily limited to the: Interior reconfiguration to create affordable housing at historic Fire House #2, located at 189 Commercial St. Provincetown, MA 02357. Reconfigure Second Floor to create: (2) bedrooms, (1) bathroom, (1) kitchen/lounge. Reconfigure Third Floor to create: (3) bedrooms, (1) half bath, (1) shower room, and (1) mechanical room. First Floor is to remain as-is. Removal of the existing roof system; Addition of (2) dormers as shown in contract documents; Replacement of roof system. Installation of mini-splits. A. A general description of the work to be performed under this contract shall include, but will not be limited to, the following construction operations: 1.
