This project is partially funded by the Local Road Improvement Program (LRIP). The Base Bid work for the above contract includes the asphalt overlay of Tombeau Rd from 92nd St to County Limits, Circle Dr, Highland Dr, and 92nd St from Termini to County Limits. Work for the above contract includes: - Providing 1" Asphaltic Scratch Layer - Providing 1 3/4 " Asphaltic Overlay Layer - Preparing and placing 3/4 " Aggregate Shouldering (2-ft shoulders) Major Base Bid Items of work with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 1,750 SY of Asphaltic Surface Removal, 3,200 TON of HMA Pavement, and 700 TON of 3/4 " Base Aggregate Dense for shouldering. Items also included in this project are preparing butt joints, and Traffic Control. The mandatory Additional work requested for the contract includes: - Providing Asphaltic Patching - (various locations) Major Additional Bid items with approximate quantities for which bids are requested, include: 750 SY of Asphaltic Patching including 85 TONS of HMA Pavement. The Village will only consider Bids from Bidders who accompany them with a Bid Bond, payable to the Village of Bloomfield, in the amount equal to 5 percent of the Bid. This requirement serves to guarantee that, if the Village accepts the Bid, the selected Contractor will execute and deliver the proper Contract Agreements and Bonds within 15 calendar days after the Notice of Award. The Owner reserves the right to reject any or all bids, waive or not waive any informality in the bids received and to accept any proposal, which they deem most favorable to the interests of the Owner.
