Project Description Provide all materials, equipment/tools, and labor to install a new mound sanitary system for the new Glen Hills bathroom/shower facility. The soil test and design for the system have already been completed and state approval has been received. The estimate must include any plumbing and electrical between the system and proposed building site. The installation of the system should avoid peak campground usage on or near holidays and weekends. Erosion control measures shall be taken throughout construction of the sanitary system, and it shall be seeded upon completion. Some tree removal may be required to get materials into the site. The County will have the sanitary permit, but the plumber will be responsible for setting up the inspection of the system. Notice is hereby given that St. Croix County will receive sealed bids for work to perform an installation of a new septic system for the Glen Hills campground that would serve the new bathroom / shower facility, located at Glen Hills Campground 1049 Rustic Road 3, Glenwood City, WI 54013 Make Bids on the bid form supplied in the Front-End Document. No oral, telegraphic, emailed or telephonic proposals or modifications will be considered. Submit with each bid, a certified check or acceptable bidder's bond payable to St. Croix County in an amount equal to five percent (5%) of the total bid. The successful bidder will be required to furnish satisfactory Labor and Material Payment Bond, and Performance Bond. Bidders Proof of Responsibility shall be furnished upon request of the Engineer or Owner. The Owner requires Final Completion of the project on or before November 1st, 2024 St. Croix County reserves the right to reject any and all Bids in whole or in part, and to waive bidding informalities or irregularities, and to award the contract in the best interests of the County. The Owner may make investigations as deemed necessary to determine the qualifications and ability of the Bidders to perform the work. State of Wisconsin policies regarding payment of minimum wages and equal employment opportunity apply to this project. Envelopes containing bids must be sealed, marked New Septic System Installation at Glen Hills Campground, with the name and address of the bidder, and the date and hour of the opening. Bids may not be withdrawn or modified within 60 days after Bids are opened. The Owner intent of award or judgment will be announced within that period. The completed form shall be without alterations, additions, or erasures. All bids shall be on a lump sum basis. Deadline for questions: May 24 th 2024.
