Site work for a mixed-use development in Langley, British Columbia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; sidewalk / parking lot; and water / sewer project.
Construction of approximately 830m of arterial widening improvements on 208 Street between 72 Avenue and 76 Avenue to accommodate 4-8 lanes with raised/painted medians, concrete barrier curb and gutter, boulevards, multi-use pathways, sidewalks, landscape, street lighting, traffic signal upgrades, and thermoplastic pavement markings. The work also includes approximately 1.15km of 250-600mm diameter watermain upgrades including service connections, fittings, and hydrants; new storm water infrastructure upgrades including approximately 1.0km of new 300mm to 900mm diameter storm sewers including catch basins and catch basin leads; approximately 780m of 200mm to 450mm diameter sanitary sewers including service connections; 1050mm to 2400mm diameter manholes. A 1.65km BC Hydro concrete encased feeder duct system including manholes, bends, and stubs from 72 Avenue to 80 Avenue is anticipated to be added to the contract.
