Renovation of a mixed-use development in Lynn, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
Scope of work includes, but is not limited to, installation of a new EPDM roof system on top of existing roof system (Go-Over). Other works include demolition of abandoned penetrations, satellites, and exhaust vents, replacing roof drains, removal & replacement of deteriorated tongue & groove wood decking and wood blocking, repointing mortar joints, replacing doors, miscellaneous mechanical & electrical disconnects, installing walkway pads and safety rails and installing through-wall scuppers. General Bids, and each filed sub-bid must be accompanied by a bid deposit which shall not be less than five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount. Bid deposit should be made payable to the City of Lynn. General Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) in the following category of work, Roofing, and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Prime/General Contractor Update Statement. Filed Sub-Bidders must be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management and Maintenance (DCAMM) for the trades listed below and must submit a current DCAMM Certificate of Eligibility and signed DCAMM Sub-bidder's Update Statement.
