The scope of Work includes, but not limited to; replacement of existing fire protection systems, remove and reinstall existing ceiling tiles affected by fire protection Work, and replacement of existing ceiling tiles damaged by Fire Protection Work with new acoustic ceiling panels. The estimated construction cost is $ 400,000.00. Each Bidder shall be certified by the Division of Capital Asset Management (DCAM) for the category of work and dollar amount of the Project. Every General Bid and every Filed Sub-Bid submitted for the Work of this Contract shall be accompanied by a copy of a Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement issued by the Division of Capital Asset Management pursuant to requirements of Chapter 149, Section 44D, as amended. The Certificate of Eligibility and Update Statement shall show that the General Bidder and the Sub-Bidder have been certified to participate on public construction projects and to perform the Work required. The Update Statement shall indicate additional work or contracts performed or executed after the Certification date, shall be sealed in a separate envelope, and will not be considered a public record. Upon Award, the Work of this Contract for the renovation of the Nashoba Valley Tech High School Zone 5 Sprinkler Replacement shall be Substantially Complete by August 23, 2024. No questions will be answered unless received at least seven days, Saturdays, Sundays, and legal holidays excluded prior to the expiration of the time set for filing of Sub-Bids or General Bids.
