Renovation of a residential development in Revere, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for the renovation of a residential development.
Roof Replacement at Garfield & Eliot Elderly Housing Estimated Cost $679,683. SCOPE OF WORK A. Provide all the Selective Demolition Work required to complete the work of the contract including all the Selective Demolition Work shown on the plans, listed in the specification, and needed to install a complete assembly. B. As indicated in the drawings, remove wet insulation areas and associated materials. Work includes, but is not limited to (from top to bottom): a. Built Up Roof System (gravel removed down to plies) b. Fiberboard Insulation c. Polyisocyanurate Insulation (2 layers- tapered) d. The layer below the Polyisocyanurate Insulation is the Vapor Retarder. The vapor retarder will remain in place. e. The roof sheathing below the vapor retarder will remain in place. C. Remove and dispose of existing metal bird prevention wires and spikes. D. Remove and replace any damaged or rotted sheathing or framing that is discovered during demolition. E. Remove and replace selective roof drains indicated on drawings. F. As indicated on drawings, remove loose or deteriorated mortar in brick walls for repointing of the masonry. f the general contractor requires any of the following it must do so in writing to the EOHLC.
