Saving Project...

Site work for a road / highway in Danville, Virginia. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

It is the intent of this "RFP" secure a qualified contractor to perform the boring work as described in the Proposal Documents found in Section 3.0 It is expressly agreed and understood that the Vendor is in all respects an independent Contractor as to work and is in no respect any agent, servant, or employee of the City. The contract specifies the work to be done by the Vendor, but the method to be employed to accomplish the work shall be the responsibility of the Vendor. The contractor shall take one of the two following actions within seven days after receipt of amounts paid to the contractor by the City of Danville for work performed by the subcontractor. Retainage will be held at 5% for each invoice until approval of the project manager after completion and inspection of the project. 2.8.4 Payment and Performance bonds of 100% of bid amount will be required if the bid proposal exceeds $100,000.00.
