The Housing Authority of the City of Alameda (AHA) is requesting proposals (RFP) from qualified and insured companies to provide Civil Engineering Services for The Poplar project site located at 2615 Eagle Avenue, Alameda, CA 94501. The term "Proposer" used herein shall mean proposers, partnerships, corporations, associations, or professional organizations. Deadline for Submitting Questions: May 10th, 2024, At 4 PM. All questions must be submitted via email to Jenny Wong, Senior Project Manager via Email at jwong@alamedahsg.org, with copy to Sarah Raskin, Housing Development Specialist, at sraskin@alamedahsg.org. Responses will be posted to this announcement page within three (3) business days. Right to Reject, Waive or Terminate the RFP. The AHA reserves the right to reject any or all proposals, to waive any informality in the RFP process, or to terminate the RFP process at any time, in its sole and absolute discretion, if deemed by the AHA to be in its best interests. Proposed Term. AHA anticipates that the proposed term for the proposed service will be for a period of up to five (5) years. HUD mandates that an individual service contract may not exceed a five (5) year term with a Public Housing Authority. (Exception: Audit services cannot exceed three (3) year terms.) AHA may elect to initially contract for a shorter period of time, with or without extensions, not to exceed five (5) years total. The method of Contractor Selection has not been Determined at this time.
