Description The County of Riverside Purchasing & Fleet Services on behalf of Riverside County Department of Waste Resources (RCDWR) is soliciting quotations for the calibration, preventative maintenance and repair of the departments vehicle scales as detailed in this RFQ.RCDWR provides solid waste management services to the public and to commercial organizations. The operation of the scales is a vital part of the Departments ability to run an effective operation. The RCDWR is responsible for complying with the Department of Food and Agriculture, Division of Measurement Standards. The Scales are used to weigh incoming and outgoing solid waste, trash trucks, trailers and personal vehicles. The scales are required to have regularly scheduled preventative maintenance, repair services and to be maintained within a range established by weights and measurements. A five percent (5%) price preference shall be applied to the total bid price during evaluation of the bid responses All questions submitted are within the online correct RFQ located Tuesday, May 14th, 2024 Time: 1:30 PM Pacific Time The County reserves the right to waive, at its discretion, any irregularity, which the County deems reasonably correctable or otherwise not warranting rejection of the quotation.
