The work under this project consists of constructing a new ADA fishing platform, ADA parking, concrete walkways, a concrete boat ramp extension, and other miscellaneous site improvements at Tomb Flats Campground in Tiadaghton State Forest. Contractor is to begin work within ten (10) days after receipt of Notice to Proceed, and to complete work within Two Hundred Seventy (270) calendar days. 4. The tenth (10th) day after receipt of Notice to Proceed shall be the official starting date unless the ten (10) day period is extended in writing by the Secretary. It is understood that if the work is not completed within the time above specified or such extension thereof, as shall be granted in accordance with the General Conditions, the Contractor shall pay the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania as liquidated damages and not as a penalty for non-completion of work, the amount of Five Hundred Dollars ($500.00) per day for each and every calendar day thereafter until the work shall be completed and accepted.
