The Town of Glastonbury is currently seeking bids for Scrap Metal Recycling. The Town reserves the right to waive informalities or reject any part of, or the entire bid, when said action is deemed to be in the best interest of the Town. It is the bidder's responsibility to check the website for addenda prior to submission of any bid/proposal. The contract period will normally be for a period of one (1) year, from July 1, 2024 through June 30, 2025. Bidders may indicate, as part of this Bid, variations to this contract period. An optional extension of an additional two (2) years will be evaluated for a total of three (3) years. Bidders shall indicate the option on the Bid Proposal form. Any bidder, in order to be considered, shall be engaged primarily in the business of scrap metal recycling with for minimum of five (5) years, prior experience with scrap metal recycling and licensed to do business in the State of Connecticut. ***Bid Event: No late bids will be accepted.
