As of November 5, 2025, this project is under construction. The City of Bristol, Virginia is requesting sealed bids from qualified contractors to construct Lee Highway Widening - Phase 1B. In addition to the roadway widening, the project will include traffic signal upgrades at each intersection and new stormwater drainage systems. All work shall be performed in accordance with criteria set forth in the contract documents. The City reserves the right to waive any informalities or to reject any and all bids. The City reserves the right to discard all bids which are nonconforming, nonresponsive, or conditional.
