Projects will be public housing capital improvements funded with Capital Grants and other projects which may be funded with non-Capital Grants. Frequent and regular on-site meetings at our public housing properties and main office building to meet with vendors and residents, conduct property condition assessments and inspections, and perform related duties. Collaborate with property management staff to identify capital needs and prioritize projects that will improve the overall quality and sustainability of public housing properties. Work and communicate under the direction of the Director of Asset Management on capital projects and contracts. The Agency will place particular importance on Experience and Past Performance with other Housing Agencies or in HUD- or housing-related work. The purpose of this Request for Proposals (RFP) is to solicit proposals from qualified, licensed, and insured proposers to support Marin Housing Authority in facilitating its public housing modernization efforts. The Agency seeks to engage a professional consultant who can effectively manage the modernization projects to ensure that these initiatives are completed on time, within budget, and in compliance with all regulatory requirements. This RFP aims to identify and establish a partnership with a consultant who will bring expertise in overseeing capital improvement projects, soliciting and evaluating bids, and ensuring high-quality project execution in an affordable manner along HUD guidelines and requirements. The consultant will collaborate with the Agency's property management staff to identify necessary capital improvements that enhance the long-term sustainability and quality of housing services offered to families, seniors, and disabled residents of Marin County.
