Reference Number 0000270047 Question Acceptance Deadline 2024/05/20 12:00:00 PM CDT a) The Rural Municipality of Portage la Prairie (RM of Portage la Prairie) will have the right to reject any quotation which contains any omissions, erasures, alterations or items not called for in the quotation documents. b) The RM of Portage la Prairie will have the right to reject any or all quotations and accept any quotation which they may consider in the best interest of the municipality. c) The RM of Portage la Prairie reserves the right to reject any quotes submitted by a Contractor who has previously defaulted on a contract or otherwise failed to complete a contract with the RM of Portage la Prairie. c) The Contractor will be deemed to have personal knowledge and to have informed himself as to the actual conditions and requirements needed to fulfill the conditions noted. d) At the time of the quotation award, the Contractor will have to show significant ability and knowledge to complete all aspects of works contained in the contract and may be required to show previous experience in performing similar work. e) The Contractor shall comply with and the work shall be carried out in compliance with all laws of Canada, Province of Manitoba, and By-Laws of the RM of Portage la Prairie. f) The Contractor shall not have, nor make any claims or demands, nor bring any action or suit against the RM for any damage, which the Contractor may sustain by reason of any delay or delays from whatever cause arising in the progress of the work. g) The Contractor shall comply with all provisions of the Worker's Compensation Act, with respect to all persons employed by him and shall provide proof of coverage with their submission.
