This specification covers the requirements for furnishing and delivering free-standing, selfcontained, cabinet enclosed 15kV 200A 3O Metering Enclosure as shown below. The Primary Metering Enclosure shall be rated for use on a 60 Hz, 12.47/7.2kV electrical distribution system. Electrical loads include commercial customers. The pad-mounted gear shall consist of a single self-supporting enclosure, containing Current Transformers (CT), Potential Transformers (PT), metering socket, and 200A bushings along with the necessary accessory components, all completely factory-assembled and operationally checked. All components of the enclosure with the exception of the meter base shall be contained within an inner-grounded steel compartment for electrical isolation and for protection from contamination. Terminals shall be equipped with bushings rated 200 amperes continuous and provide for elbow connection. Bushings shall be mounted on the walls of the inner compartment and shall extend into termination compartments.
