The Base Bid consists of the construction of interior water plumbing and the installation of a new bulk water filling station at the Village's Public Works Facility located at 5115 Terminal Drive. Water plumbing work will include the installation of approximately 200 lineal feet of new 4-inch water piping, new water meter installation, new backflow preventer, new flow control valves, and new bulk water filling control unit. The quantities and the main sizes are subject to change without notice prior to document distribution. Bidders must be pre-qualified with the Village of McFarland within the last year or must be pre-qualified for this work 5 days prior to the bid deadline in accordance with Section 66.0901 of the Wisconsin Statutes. Each bidder must deposit, with his bid, security in the amount of 5% of the maximum bid amount. Bidders must be experienced in municipal pipeline construction. The Village of McFarland reserves the right to reject any and all bids and to waive informalities in any bid.
