MUNICIPAL AND RESIDENTIAL MUNICIPAL SOLID WASTE COLLECTION AND DISPOSAL, AND RECYCLING COLLECTION SERVICES for an initial period of three (3) years and four (4) months, from September 1, 2024 through December 31, 2027, with two one (1) year options at the discretion of the Township. Each bid shall include a cashiers check or bid bond in an amount equal to ten percent (10%) of the total annual bid, including alternates. Each bid shall be accompanied by a Certificate of Non-Collusion and all other documents as specified. A performance bond will be required from the successful bidder in the full amount of the contract price for three years. Bid shall remain firm for a period of forty-five (45) days. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informalities in or to reject any and all bids, and to enter into such a contract as may be deemed to be in the best interest of Lower Macungie Township. All those who wish to submit a bid MUST obtain a bid packet from the Township and do so by using the template included in the bid packet. No other forms will be accepted.
