CONTRACT NO. 12500-59-08 AND -09 all questions in relation to lines, levels and dimensions of work and as to the questions of interpretation of the plans and specifications. The term "ENGINEER" shall mean CKS Engineers, an ARRO Consulting Company, 4259 W. Swamp Road, Suite 410, Doylestown, Pennsylvania 18902, or his duly appointed representative, or such other engineer as identified by the Township. The projects include but not limited to naturalization of one swale and four basins including, but not limited to: regrading and restoring a swale approximately 0.2 acres of mowed lawn to naturalized groundcover; naturalization of (4) four existing basins including: regrading approximate 0.96 - acre bottom of basin, restoration of existing rip-rap aprons, replacement of fifteen (15) flared end sections, restoring approximate 3.9-acres of mowed basin bottom areas to naturalized groundcover with seed, and herbaceous plantings Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements stated in the bid documents. Performance Bonds will be required from the successful bidder in the full amount of the annual contract price as stated in the bid documents. This project is subject to minimum wage rates in accordance with the applicable provisions of the Pennsylvania Prevailing Wage Act and the Public Works Employee Verification Act. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids.
