Site work and paving for a road / highway in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
Roadway Improvement Program. The Contract will generally include the full-width, variable depth or curbline milling and overlay of four Township roadways (25,575 SY/2,360 TON). The Contract work will also include 400 SY of pavement repair, 280 Tons of leveling/scratch course and the replacement of all pavement markings. Each bid must be accompanied by Bid Security in the form of a certified or bank check, or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of PennDOT Pub. 408, made payable to Lower Macungie Township, in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the Bid price, including all Alternate/Add-On items. The successful Bidder must furnish Performance and Payment Bonds each in an amount equal to the Contract Price and meeting PennDOT Publication 408, Section 103.04 requirements. Lower Macungie Township reserves the right to waive any informality and to reject any or all Bids.
