Site work for a water / sewer project in Macungie, Pennsylvania. Completed plans call for site work for a water / sewer project.
Upper Macungie Township, Lower Macungie Township, Hanover Township and the Coplay-Whitehall Sewer Authority (collectively, "Owners") will jointly receive sealed bids electronically via the PennBid Program for the 2024 Sanitary Sewer System Manhole Maintenance and Rehabilitation, Contract "A" Upper Macungie Township, Contract "B" Lower Macungie Township, Contract "C" Hanover Township and Contract "D" Coplay-Whitehall Sewer Authority project which will include rehabilitation of their respective sanitary sewer system manholes at various locations throughout their sewer service areas. The work will include, but not be limited to, the following work tasks: Epoxy chimney lining, full depth epoxy manhole lining, manhole base section lining, drill and grout active leaks, remove and reset offset manhole castings, repair leaking/broken metal manhole adjustment rings and repair/reline existing chimney and manhole liners. The bid must be accompanied by bid security made payable to the Owners in an amount of ten percent (10%) of the total bid price, and in the form of a certified or bank check or a Bid Bond issued by a surety meeting the requirements of Paragraph 6.01 of the General Conditions. The Owners reserve the right to waive any informality in, and/or to reject, any or all bids. No bid will be accepted if not submitted through the system. Questions received less than seven (7) days prior to the date for opening of Bids may not be answered.
