Site work and paving for a road / highway in Conway, Massachusetts. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway; and for paving for a road / highway.
The Town of Hawley would like Ashfield Road reconstructed with improvements made to the roadway cross-section and drainage. The roadway cross-section will consist of a stabilization geotextile fabric overlain by 16-inches of processed gravel base with 8-inches of dense graded crushed stone for a surface course. The drainage improvements will consist of the installation of sub-drains across and along portions of the roadway. The Contractor will be required to coordinate and obtain survey for horizontal and vertical control along the right-of-way of Ashfield Road. The Contractor shall furnish the survey control, including stakeout, to the Town for the Town to prepare the rough grading of the roadway subbase. Following rough-grading by the Town, the Contractor shall fine grade the subbase, install sub-drains and construct the roadway cross-section as shown on the plans. The Contractor will also furnish materials for installation by the Town as noted in the project documents. Question Deadline 05/23/2024 at 4:00 PM ET
