The City of Tucson Environmental and General Services Division (EGSD) is looking for a company that is Environmental Protection Act (EPA) certified refrigerant reclaimer. Selected Firm will be extracting gasses from the products and/or appliances collected at the Los Reales Sustainability Campus (LRSC). Firm will be required to extract gases form prepared products and or appliances at least every two (2) weeks. Firm will also be required to provide documentation of destruction or recycle of extracted gases. The City of Tucson receives approximately 50-units a week that contain Freon or other refrigerants. The City is seeking someone with availability no less than every other week to extract Freon or other refrigerants. Contractor should be available to have the City call and schedule additional extraction days if we have a heavy week of units (refrigerators, freezers, A/C units, etc.).
