Site work for a road / highway in Waterbury, Connecticut. Completed plans call for site work for a road / highway.

The City of Waterbury, Department of Engineering (hereinafter "City"), is seeking Proposals from qualified Proposers for Traffic Signal Preemption Program (the "Project") as detailed and described in the Request for Proposal Documents (the "RFP"). It is the intent of the City for the Successful Proposer to furnish all labor, services, materials, tools, equipment, transportation and incidentals necessary to execute and properly finish the Project, as detailed and described herein. The scope of work for this Project includes the furnishing and installing of preemption equipment at various intersections within the City of Waterbury as detailed in the traffic signal plans and the technical specifications. Any award of work equal to or greater than $50,000.00 shall require a formal Contract. If a Contract is awarded as a result of this RFP, the Successful Proposer agrees and covenants that the Contract Time shall commence upon delivery of the City's written Notice to Proceed, which shall occur after contract execution by both parties. It is anticipated that the Successful Proposer shall reach Substantial Completion of the Work on or before November 15, 2024 and shall reach Final Completion of all Work and Services required by this RFP on or before December 1, 2024.
