Question Deadline 05/29/2024 Any questions regarding the bid documents are to be presented and received by the Municipal Secretary in writing either by mail or e-mail a minimum of 3 working days before the date that the Municipality sets to receive bids. The Contractor is to place the type and depth ofmaterial listed in the Schedule ofPrices. All depth to be compacted in place and work to include tack coat as per PennDOT Specifications Form 408, milling of pavement notches at intersecting roads and driveways and sealing of joints and utilities. A small amount ofhand or machine placed roll bituminous curb may be required. These items are to be incidental to the paving. "2024 Road Improvements" on Various Roads in Penn Forest Township 10,429 Sy of 5 V2" Bituminous Repair Including G Milling and Placing 4" of 25.0mm and 1 V2" of 9.5mm I Workmanship must meet PENNDOT Publication 408 Specifications and Standards. For the "2024 Road Improvements" project the Bidders do not need to be online prequalified. PA Prevailing Wages apply to this project. For the "2024 Road Improvements" Project the Bidders Do Nc Pa Prevailing Wages Apply to This Project. Proposals Must Be on Forms Provided by the Township. Proposals Should Be Marked "2024 Road Improvements" Bid Proposal. All Bids Must Be Accompanied by a Certified Check or Bid Bond in the Amount Often (10%) Percent of the Bid Made Payable to Penn Forest Township. The Successful Bidder Will Be Required to Provide a Performance Bond and Payment Bond in the Amount of 100% of the Awarded Contract Amount Within 20 Days of the Award of the Contract. The Penn Forest Township Board of Supervisors reserves the right to accept or reject any and/or all proposals or portions thereof, and to delete projects and or portions of the project depending on budgetary constraints and also to waive any technicalities deemed to be in the best interested of the Township.
