Renovation of an educational facility in Essex Junction, Vermont. Completed plans call for the renovation of a educational facility.
The Essex Westford School District (Owner) is seeking competitive bids from qualified Roofing Contractors to re-roof approximately 20,000sf, of existing ballasted membrane roofing at Essex Middle School on Founders Road in Essex, VT. Work generally consists of removing the ballast, removing the existing membrane, overlaying the remaining insulation with a new layer of insulation/coverboard and installing a new membrane, new edge flashings and addressing existing curbs and other penetrations. A Bid Bond in the amount of 5% of the bid amount shall be furnished with the bid A Performance and Payment Bond in the amount of 100% of the contract value will also be required. Questions regarding the project may be directed to John Alden, AIA at the above address. Weather permitting, it is anticipated that on-site activities may begin June 17th, 2024 (Start of Summer Vacation) and shall be Substantial Complete by August 16th, 2024.
