For the Department of Public Works-Engineering Division in accordance with the documents prepared by the City of Marlborough. The project consists of cementitious manhole rehabilitation (235VF) and installing 3,050 FT of cured-in place pipe within 6" and 8" clay sewer mains, including all labor, material and equipment necessary to complete the work as described with the contract specifications. The estimated project cost is approximately $250,000.00. Bids are subject to M.G.L., c. 30, 39M, and to minimum wage rates as required by M.G.L c.149, 26 through 27H inclusive. Questions concerning the bid specifications must be submitting in writing via email to Attn: Mark Dascoli at mdascoli@marlborough-ma.gov no later than 3 business days prior to the scheduled bid opening. Bid Security shall be at least five percent (5%) of the greatest possible bid amount, considering all alternates. The Bid Security in the form of a Bid Bond shall be: a) with a surety company qualified to do business in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts and satisfactory to Owner; b) conditional upon the faithful performance by the principal of the agreements contained in the Bid. A Bid Security in the form of cash, or a certified check, treasurer's, or cashier's check issued by a responsible bank or trust company and made payable to the Owner must be submitted with a completed Cash Bid Bond Affidavit form and received by the Owner before the time of bidding. In addition, the Bidder must also submit a completed Cash Bid Bond Affidavit form with their E-Bid.
